1.4. PARTL

Definition of the PARTL functor

The functor PARTL is a functor for the effective root of an independent interjectional clause.

The PARTL functor is assigned to the node representing the governing interjection or particle of an independent interjection clause, even in those cases when the interjectional clause is a parenthesis. Independent interjectional clauses are defined in Section 4.2, "Non-verbal clauses". The same section also describes the possible forms of the governing expression, which is represented by a node with the PARTL functor.
